Where Ancient Wisdom Meets Contemporary Research

The International Siddha, Yoga & Integrated Medical Conference (ISYIMC 2026) is an interdisciplinary international conference dedicated to the exploration of Siddha medicine, Yoga, Tamil medical heritage, traditional knowledge systems and integrative healthcare. It provides a platform for researchers and practitioners to present original work, exchange knowledge and develop meaningful international collaborations.

ISYIMC 2026 is a two-day international hybrid conference bringing together scholars, clinicians, traditional medicine practitioners, yoga educators, researchers, students, community leaders and health professionals. It takes place on Saturday 31 October & Sunday 01 November 2026 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with simultaneous online participation, so that invited speakers, presenters and delegates who cannot travel to Toronto can still take part.

The programme is designed to create a respectful academic platform where traditional knowledge can be documented, critically discussed, researched and connected with contemporary approaches to health and wellness. The organizing vision is to strengthen international collaboration while preserving the cultural and intellectual heritage of Siddha and Yoga traditions, with emphasis on research quality, interdisciplinary dialogue, responsible integration, education and practical knowledge exchange.
